Security & Construction
This is the Dehler hull-to-deck joint. It’s unlike any other in yacht construction today, and that’s a shame, because it makes a better, safer boat.
Every Dehler’s hull and deck are laminated together whilst they are still in their molds, creating a unique single-piece monocoque structure that is as noteworthy for what it doesn’t have as for what it does have: No fasteners and no adhesives means nothing to fail or leak. Ever.
This painstaking and time-consuming approach to the very cornerstone of yacht construction yields a notably stiffer structure, and defines the rest of the building process. All non-structural interior trimmings, systems and even the engine are passed through the companionway. Should they need to be removed for service in the future, they will come out just as easily.

Design & Performance
Dehlers are designed by the best in the business: Judel/Vrolijk Design and Simonis-Voogd, each responsible for many of the world’s leading racing and cruising yachts.
The Dehler design premise is straightforward yet somehow elusive. Simply, a state-of-the-art racing machine should also be a comfortable and capable cruiser, and there is no reason a globetrotting cruising sailor should not demand a yacht that is lively, fun and rewarding to sail.
Innovation
Since 1963, Dehler has continuously broken new ground in sailing, leading the way with such everyday features as single-line reefing, the Dehler MainDrop System of combined lazy jacks and integral sailcover, self-tending headsails, the Central Winch System-- placing key controls within easy reach of the helm-- and patented hatchboard system that is a safety and convenience feature of every new Dehler.

Lasting Value
A Dehler is not the least expensive boat one can purchase, nor is it by any means the most expensive. In fact, amongst production and semi-custom builders, the cost of a Dehler is about average.
Yet they are anything but “average.” Their extraordinary strength, no-nonsense engineering, timeless beauty and relatively small production numbers make each Dehler a secure and lasting value.
Yours Alone
No two Dehlers are ever exactly alike, each bearing the unique fingerprint of her owner. From gelcoat colors, to interior fabrics and finishes, to choices in deck hardware and electronics, the decisions are yours. Dehler’s inhouse engineers can also accommodate most custom requests, a special element that is simply unheard of in the world of mass-production.
